I picked the fruit today.  If you are bringing any moyas you probably need to pick today to have them ready in time.

If anyone else is coming or not let me know.

Nice Mark, I picked a bunch yesterday and today for the party.  Seems like they are getting ripe fast now.  Had 30 to 40lbs drop today and have people coming to buy the drops.  You can just refeigerate your if they are soft on friday.

My wife made some cherimoya ice cream with cherimoyas, lime and cream in our ice cream machine.  The kids wanted blue coloring in it.  Its really great tasting, came out awesome better than expected.

We are going to make a bunch more for Saturday.

Sorry the photo isn't great but it tastes awesome.  Skip breakfast save room to eat a lot there will be a lot of food.

Anyone who hasnt been here, use google maps to get here.  The other map programs will get you lost.  Its out in the the middle of no where trust me you need to use google for the directs.  Someone just came here and didnt listen about using google and got taken out to the wrong place.

Brad,
The icecream looks good.
I should have asked for a scoop while I was there yesterday and you mentioned about icecream.

Looks amazing Brad. Never a cherimoya fan myself. I find them sometimes too sweet and lack complex flavor. Perhaps I just haven’t tasted a good one.

Have fun - looks like you are going to have a great gathering

You must not have a good sample before.  The flavor is really nice.  I had some store paloras the other day and then had cherimoya afterwards and the cherimoyas were way better.  Palora is sweet and lack flavor, cherimoya has much more flavor depth.

Im already sick of them though to be honest. Its all ive been eating the last week.

Sure Robert come over.  A few people cancelled because the news about covid is bad I guess?  I dont have TV so haven't been following closely.  It doesn't seem like San Diego has a big problem but maybe I dont follow close enough.

Please just wear mask and social distance everyone there plenty of space here that we can be just as safe as grocery shopping or outdoor dining.   I have tables and chairs setup spaced way apart and you can go take your food and walk around away from others and look at plants if you choose.

Thanks

I’ll do a short write up later or tomorrow but it was super fun today. There was so much fruit that we only ate a fraction of what there was. It was absolutely beautiful there and the trees are thriving with Brads care.
