Lemon and strawberry Cattleyanum guavas.Fast growth, early fruiting and abundant fruiting.
Dont think you can grow the real tropical guavas there.
Ugni its the bast tasting guava in the world but the fruit its verry small, needs acid soil and doesnt like drought.

Thank you!

Is Ruby Red any good?
Correction: i was wrong and you can grow the pink and the white tropical guavas in south Florida.
I have a pink guava but didnt fruited iet and ive never ate the fruit.
From this video i think the pink its the farmer favorite and the white its considered good mostly because of the crunchiness like an apple wich is rare to find at tropical fruits.

Do you mean the ugni molinae? resource I have checked says it grows in all type of soils and is drought tolerant. Do you have a source that has plenty of info about this plant? I really want to grow it  ;D.

Ugni grows in southern Chile near rivers and sometimes right next to glaciers. If you get it ,dont risk it with drought or alkaline soil.
Ive read thats hard to get in USA because its verry rare and usually expensive. Here in Europe we are lucky that the english had grown it for somme time and they even have a few cultivars now.
If you live in a dry place ,you can keep it in full shade or just a little shade.Grows fast in a pot like a bath tub or something like that.
A review about the taste its this : https://youtu.be/yEIWlpxxSpQ
