Awesome!

Every couple of months I was rechecking if the forum got magically active again but it never did. :(
Cheerios!

The forumup software was horrible. The site would go down for days at a time & you rarely got a response from support. I just got really fed up with the headaches...

Sylvain, doing so much to help out a lot of folks and also important to see some of the members coming back . This forum  was just incredible. Laaz just didn’t know how valuable he was, when he started.
A true forum like this would be incredible exciting. All of a sudden old names pop up again, these folks got me started in citrus.
Millet, you should remember the one and only "Buddinman". I talk to him last year and early this spring. Then there is Joe Real.

I changed the search engine from Qwant to Google. The indexing is much faster.
Now the site is fully usable.

Make sure you archive things again and update it because several interesting threads have been added since you first created the archive.

Also I don't know if there's any way to make sure the images all get saved. Maybe even a double back-up, because images have a way of getting lost over time. (In my experience, looking back at archives that are over 6 years old)

If you heard of some new treads, send them to me and I shall update the site.

No, all the pictures are hosted on the site. The ones missing were lost before I made a backup.

Well well well, the best news I got for a while, Citrus Growers Forum is alive with all the information :) You did a wonderful job Sylvain, thank you very much.
I just learned about TropicalFruitForum from Mike, homecitrusgrowers.co.uk, and it is a great surprise to see old names from the CGforum.
I was not an active information provider there but I had the chance to illustrate the logo at top :D
It is good to see everyone is around, especially after I read Laaz had health problems.

The most famous banner icon ever. :D

Saw so many amazing things people did to grow citrus around the world. Can't remember who, some in Latvia, that had build his greenhouse underground for winter. Brilliant!
Cheerios!

I like the new forum. Hope Buddinman will venture over. Spoke with him recently....he is 88 years into it and does not lecture or teach anymore. He is taking it easy in his latter years. He is my mentor and I was a hungry student. A citrus guru of magnitude. Wish him well.
