Post by: Plantinyum on December 21, 2020, 10:49:22 AM
Hi, can I root out now wild rootstocks for fruit trees, I want to take them out, prune all limbs and top to the desired heigh and bury them in the ground for the winter. In spring I will pot them up and graft them....does it sound good ? Tanks !!

Yes you can do that during this period.
But yes then you have to plant in a plot that will serve as a mini nursery. And grafted in spring either on table or on the spot.
