Here is a Thai sugar apple next to an Improved Isan Indigo.
This is the first year for the Thai to produce. It was very good.
It was not an easy peal like the Improved Isan and the Improved Isan is still my
favorite this year. Usually annonas taste better their second year?

Do sugar apples come true from seed?  Or very near true?   I have some seeds from various sources but I wasn't paying much attention to cultivar as I assumed they needed to be grafted to get a known variety.

Sugar apples come true to seed. Grafted sugar apple trees are rare.
