My seeds arrived very fast and shipping method is perfect. My inga seeds have already sprouted. Thank you very much Richard! :-)

However my taturuba seeds show no sign of germination after two weeks. How long do taturuba seeds usually take to germinate?

Hello Felipe,

Pouteria macrophylla can be a bit long to sprout, usually 1 to 2 months, but i've saw seeds sprouting after 6 months. Seeds stay viable for a long time if never dried and if keep in a slightly moist medium.

Hi Richard,

I am using a heat mat  and I removed gently the seed coat. Now they are starting to germinate, but the tap root is developing pretty slow. It is the slowliest pouteria I have ever germinated, usually they germinate and grow fast... but patience pays of they say...  ;D  ::)

Yes, a single tree will fruit, but each tree fruit only every 2 years !
