I have a Valencia Pride, Pickering, Glenn and Carrie right now. I would like a late season bloomer. It would have to be disease resistant and hearty because I live in the Keys and it's rocky soil. What do you suggest?
Thanks

Honey Kiss. Small tree, very productive and great flavor.

There are no disease resistant mango trees guaranteed to not get a disease.

Are you concerned about bacteria, viral, fungal, or another organism causing this disease?

Why do you think the Keys would be more prone for this organism to attack your mango trees in the Keys vs. elsewhere in South Florida?

I grow Keitt as my late season mango in Palm City, Fl and often have mangos through the end of October.

Our Nursery has very limited supply due to Covid. Basically...for the ones that I don't have in 7 gal pots....I can only get a Kent. Given what I aready have, would it be a good choice or should I wait until maybe next year? I don't have much room for more after this.

Good luck finding mango trees, no more stock of the good ones, prices gone up too.

3 feet tall on a 7 gallon bucket $70 to $75

Be very careful and mindful of what you sow, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

You dont want a Kent.  Too many known issues with it.  You could take a drive up to Al Fruit Trees in Miami or reach out to Tropical Acres as they may be able to ship to you.
