Happy Earth Day!
My granddaughter got this at school and said I should share it with all my friends!

Let's hope we're not too late!  (Considering the size of the universe, do you think there are other planets with highly evolved life forms?  "Somewhere in a far-off galaxy...")

The creator knew we would eventually try to abandon our planet, that is why the others are so far away...

But He designed this planet so perfectly, and mankind has disregarded, not appreciated and respected his perfect plan.  So do you think He now expects us to try to fix the mess we've made since there's no escape?

Man may be causing himself a lot of discomfort; and, who knows, perhaps he will ultimately do himself in with his own behavior. I really don't know what to believe, because the evidence is so diverse on every side of these environmental issues. Bur, a very wise friend of mine once commented: "Human Beings are like a bunch of fleas on the back of a VERY big dog." Doesn't cause much damage, but it does cause a lot of itching and scratching. My guess is the planet will afterall come out of all this just fine.

The planet will be fine, of course.  Even without the human species.  So I guess the question is if we want to continue to be a part of it.
