Sugar apple shelf life and storage
« on: August 28, 2015, 09:01:58 PM »
Hey guys, I'm sure it's been asked but everything I found just said "short" so if I order some on eBay, how long will I have to eat it or can I store it somehow and keep the same quality?

Not sure about pure sugar apples, but with my atemoya tree (part sugar apple), if I don't eat a fruit the day it was picked, there is a noticeable degradation in quality by the next day. I remember thinking - yep, that's why they aren't found in stores.

About 2 or 3 days if harvested still "hard"
