my large tree should have fruits/seeds, by march/April of next year.
it's about to flower, into the winter.

Looks like Oscar is out of seeds. Isent he from hawaii? :-/
Do they stay good for long or do they go "bad" fast?

they do stay good for a long while.
they keep well if u store them properly.

I'm going to be lucky if I harvest seeds. Each year is a battle with the cold. My tree blooms at the worst possible time...but if I can make it through the freezes, it does make a lovely crop.
out of all myrciaria/plinia I've grown, this one takes the longest to ripen. Seems like 4months or longer.
