Would love to make the trek - esp. if I can squeeze in some family time in my old South Bay stomping grounds on the way there /back. A lot depends on how many free days I can string together. I'll look for your updates.

Would love to drop by for the Avocado tasting.  24th of April works for me.  I am considering converting some of my Hass trees to different varieties this year, but tasting them beforehand would be ideal.  Thanks for offering to organize this event.
BTW, ag workers can get their vaccines now in CA so I will be fully microchipped by the event date  8)

cool, Ill hit the grove with some extra zinc for the rest of you who arent yet nanochipped.

Lulzzzzzz  You get it. I will fly in from Florida for this avo testing when you can add some quercetin into the zinc

Hi All,
I'd be interested as well.  FWIW I am more knowledgeable about avocados but need wisdom about Mangos.

Thanks,
Thomas

Thomas, can you bring some avocados?  Anyone else have avocados they can pitch in?  Its not required, it would just help make this happen and make it easier to host more people.

I got “microchipped” early, it’s been over 3 months since my 2nd dose and my google targeted ads haven’t changed. (Still gardening ads and “male enhancement” products) I did feel achy for a day and a half after each dose. I will say it dramatically decreased my stress level and I have a much more positive outlook overall, like “it’s not over, but it is mostly downhill from here.”

So  9/10 would vaccinate again.

I am a bit too far North for this round but maybe The stars will align and I can make round 2 in summer. If you do any kind of formal or informal data collection or anyone makes tasting notes it would be great if you posted or linked to them.

Have fun and be safe.

I started picking fruit just to get the timing down.

The date has changed to May 1st, hopefully everyone noticed that.

That’s a nice little collection you got there but what’s up with that little sir prize? Mine were double the size of my hass and this was the first time the tree fruited, good ol Clausen's.

My tree had  hundreds of fruit so they aren't as big as if there's less on there.  I even thinned the tree twice last summer!  Over producer, the branches are sagging and getting sunburn.  The fruit is good but the tree has some funny habits.

Fruit is picked and hopefully all were timed right.  Theres a pretty big group coming so I'm limiting this to the people who have been here before or have done some kind of business with me in the past.  If we know each other but you don't have the address send me a message.
