New days of operation beginning March 1st

Beginning March 1st, Bender's tropical Grove will be open to the public and forum members Wednesday,Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
It is with great pleasure to announce that I have taken a position with Pine Island Nursery in Miami to help run their retail sales. I am excited to be part
of a great team and will be working there every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8am to 4pm. I look at this as a way to expand my knowledge
in the field of tropical fruit trees and learn all aspects of the nursery business while helping Pine Island expand their retail operation and customer service.
I truly am excited for this opportunity and can't wait to get started. I will always be available 7 days a week should anyone have any needs or questions.
Look forward to seeing many of you either here at Bender's Grove, or at Pine Island Nursery! Thank you all for all the support you have given me here

Now I'm torn as to whether I will make purchases from PI. Lol. You working there may make me willing to purchase from them once again. You definitely need to help them expand their customer service. Such as when a customer is trying to explain to them that they have the species of their jujube labeled incorrectly on their website, they shouldn't be rude to customer because in that instance the customer was right and they didn't know what they were talking about. I've held a grudge against PI for about 5 years now because of that day.

I have been involved in customer service in one industry or another most of my life,if I learned anything at all, it's that no one has all the answers to everything, treating a customer with respect is paramount to any successful business. I am sorry you had a bad experience, but I think all of us have had similar bad experiences whether at a nursery or Walmart, I just spent the last 11 years aa a service manager at one the the largest Honda dealerships in the country. I spent everyday trying to keep rude employees under control,and having pissed off housewives "F" bombing me up and down as if I was their toddler, so I am sure I will be able to make you happy Sheehan! I will take it as a personal challenge!! Haha. Seriously I do understand where you are coming from. That was one of the main reasons I believe Erik has decided to bring me on board. I think good customer service is becoming a rare commodity today. So come by and visit anytime and I will do my best to make you happy! Scouts honor!

Congratulations!!! You are the man with the plan. I have been to your Davie grove twice and your grounds are impressive. Pine Island Nursery should be on ebay. It is much more conducive to impulse buys.  They should be able to cut a favorable % deal. Many big guys are on eBay and they have good reasons. PM me for a really good example I have
