Dada used get seed of Duguetia Lepidota Yara Yara in Venezuela rarely but  he has disappeared.Vitor had some very very rare huge fruited Duguetia from Brazil but i was new then did not get a chance to acquire any before he disappeared.
Vitor https://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?action=profile;u=2102

DADA lives in Colombia, Bogotá has two 2 meters high Duguetia Lepidota
Fruit may be produced next year. The tree is 6 years old
Because plants are in Venezuela. It has been difficult to travel Venezula in recent years. Therefore, DADA did not collect seeds, and note that the seeds of www.rarepalmseeds.com were sold in 2020, please do not buy. No germination rate :D

2nd that Duguetia Lepidota Yara Yara!
Venezula National Park's central location
But Venezula travel is very troublesome.

Yes.  I have a bunch of pouteria speciosa seeds (huge seeds and difficult to source viable seeds) but will grow these out and sell some as seedlings :) you are right. This is one I have been looking for a long time.  ;D In Brazil they think it’s going to be a commercial crop and I know some people are working on producing it commercially.
Will you sell germination seeds?
Because seedlings are not feasible for international transportation. Thank you very much for your reply
In addition, will you travel to Venezula La National Park?
Last year I heard you want to go to Venezula National Park to find Duguetia Lepidota Yara Yara :D

Someone pm me asked me about humidity control
I reply to you here. Humidity control just keeps the seeds moist, ;D

so a baggy (not ziplock because it needs to breathe) with DAMP disinfected peat moss kept above 21 C, then they should start producing the root in about 15 days correct?
Yes,
This is my germination seeds prepared to send to Hawaii, USA.
Give away friends,
I did not sell seeds
You need germination seeds, you can consult

Transplant attention
Don't hurt the roots. Or he'll die for no apparent reason

Would like to seek some help getting platonia insignis seeds to germinate.  Tried 2 separate batches (both from reputable sources) recently and nothing germinated.  I tried soaking 2 in strong distilled drinking alcohol, 2 in 40c distilled water and 2 were soaked in 350 ppm of ga3 for 24 hours.  They were then placed in a baggy with damp coco fiber.  Kept at about 85f.  They began to grow what looked like white mold and had a boggy feeling after about a month and then turned to mush by the second month.
The second batch was just soaked in H20 over night and then planted in some potting mix (coco fiber, perlite, vermiculite) and kept in the green house with a bag on the top to maintain humidity.  Those didn't get the moldy white stuff but they also turned to mush around the second month.
Anyone having success germinating these have any tips?
Not
Use coconut bran (too wet), please either sand or peat
Must be breathable. Definitely rotten in the zipper bag (100%) :'( :'( :'( :'(

::)In China, this species will be produced soon after resulting

I am glad to participate in this topic,
I can germinate this species very easily
Experience: Use disinfected peat, and cannot be wet (must pay attention to control water) temperature must not be lower than 21 degrees Celsius until germination. Normally germination within 15 days
You will rot and don't control the water. Primary land, sandy land with good soil permeable

I would not recommend using rarepalmseeds. Expensive all around and they could be too old to be viable.

I saw that Hapa Joe and Anderson Tropicals just updated their inventories on the buy/sell/trade thread of the forum with plenty of Duguetia species, I would inquire about international shipping.
I've got everything they sell and I've grown it, and I'm mainly interested in buying Duguetia lepidota
my

Who has broken the spell? Has anyone fruited some cerrado species outside of their native range? or even kept a plant alive for more than one season (through a winter) ?

If so, what species...and how did u do it?

I managed to keep some alive this winter, by keeping them in pots, and out of the rain.

I had some Eugenia dysenterica seedlings that survived...just barely.  And I kept them so dry, it would have killed any other plant I can think of.  Even the E. klotzschianas i had right next to the dysentericas, died from drought.  (but I managed to keep some pera-do-campo alive).

Brosimum gaudichaudii...all look dead....and really wanted to taste this one...Maybe they will pop up?

Pouteria. torta dead, P. ramilflora dead.

Annona coriacea alive!
Because most of my Cerrado species is alive, restarting this topic and bringing you experience

Oh, sorry
He should have passed like this, and the dormant period should be able to germinate.
yangmei and Pawpaw need to store seeds, there is a dormant period

The process is called seed stratification and it's part the Yangmei seeds germination process..
yes

Hello
I am in China, you should pay attention to a problem. Bayberry is male and female, and most of the seeds will grow male. It is recommended that you import grafting and grafting. The probability of seed mutation is too great. As long as 0.055 US dollars (in China), even if the packaging cost is added, it will be $ 0.5 ::)
The season of yangmei has not yet arrived.
The yangmei seeds at this time did not have germination rate, be careful to be cheated
