I bought 2 citrus trees- Flame Grapefruit & Ortanique Orange

Hi citrus people.  I usually talk mangos but, i wanted some citrus.
I told nursery guy i like sweet yellowish grapefruit, he sold me on Flame grapefruit description.
Today i went back for 1 more citrus, bought Ortanique orange.
Both 15 gal, good looking trees.
How'd i do?

Flame is great!  I have one.  It is definitely red inside though, not sure if that is what you're expecting.  It tasts much like typical "ruby red" grapefruit, which I like.

Never tried Ortanique. 

Google HLB/huonglongbing virus, seems common in Florida.

I grow in a northern greenhouse so I don't know much about how to do things in Florida climate and soil.

Thanks brian, good to hear Flame's tasty.  Survives up there?

Virus bites.  I hope it's not mistake putting them citrus near mangos.

Oh god no, I have mine in a heated greenhouse.  No edible citrus survives outdoors here

The virus only affects citrus as far as I know.  And it doesn't cause instant death only steady decline.
