Well.... The international mango festival is in New Delhi. So that's first. From there I'm not too sure where in India to head. Somewhere tropical and rural would be ideal. I have about 7 weeks in total. 3 in India and 4 in Thailand.

This will be my first time in India. Doing some research and came across 2 separate dates. Is anyone else going or have gone can give me a reputable site to refer to? Also stoping in Thailand and possibly Vietnam on this trip. Would love any tip on where to get some fruit as well! Thank you!

I haven't been in this game for long but....

It's seems like last summer was a Manila/Asian type year and this summer was a kiett/Kent/Indian type year.
 Anyone else notice this?

Do I get rid of this shoot under the graft or do I need it to "control the sap"?

I'm pretty set on pawpaw with some stone fruit and persimmon. Should be able to get a pretty long fruit season with those. Now just to make sure I'm not allergic to pawpaw. That would suck.

A.p. On cherimoya seedling from this year!!!! First attempt at graftin Annona. Mango is still giving me trouble but this was easy!

Ive only been there a few times when I was young so I really have no clue but online it says lows in winter in the mid to high 30s. Seems on the cusp for cherimoya but more stone fruit situations. Paw paw is a cool idea though. I've never had one but am REALLY  interested. Persimmons maybe?

My grandfather left me a little bit of land in crawfordville when he died and I was wondering what to do with it. Small house with an orchard would be my first thought but I had no idea what to grow that was rare or different. after looking at the climate today cherimoya might be perfect but I can't remember  hearing from anyone in that area on here. Is anyone up there? *knocks on monitor*

Well..... I've only tried it once. I'd really love to try it fresh and many varieties. With that said my experience was like....... You stuffed a dead dog with onions and let it ferment for a month in a black trash bag in the sun.

Looking for either a grafted little guy of a quality variety or seeds/seedlings of the same. I'm in long beach California and would prefer local pickup. Thank you 😊

well.....hahaha out of the six seeds comming hopefully one will turn out to be purple to some degree and maybe by some divine chance it will taste good too. I really want to use them for hybrid experiments in the future. A selection from 6 is still a selection
