« on: June 13, 2021, 12:12:52 AM »
I saw this at the nursery and posted it to a group and some people said it’s fake and 1 said it’s just giant lychee. Can anybody report on this or any info more on Ongs nursery

Quang is an agronomist and very reputable. He has a larger farm out in fallbrook where his mother trees are. I can’t speak to this particular variety, but he is one of the better sources for rare trees here in SD. I have one of his seedless lychee selections that might hold fruit this year.

Is this the seedless lychee that is available in China and Australia?  Or is this a variety that Quang discovered on his own through growing seeds?
