"Saludo" Canistel
Jacob13:
Hello Friends,
I have a "Saludo" Canistel. I was wondering if anyone else has this Variety and could tell me a little bit about it.
Hey Oscar, have you ever tasted this variety? Do you know if its any good and worth growing?
Thanks,
Jacob

Jacob, yes, i tasted Saludo once at Frankie's nursery many years ago. It was awesome! Very moist and good tasting. Top of the line in eggfruits (canistels). Would be good to do a side by side comparison with Ross sapote. My guess is that they would be neck in neck.
