little cado avocado / wurtz avocado is only true dwarf tree there's some semi dwarfs avocado tree

Yes Gwen and Reed are smaller trees growing to 15 feet. But Wurtz is considerably a smaller tree, I have all 3 of these.

pinkerton, makes tons of fruit, small tree, superior flavor.

Wurtz avocado, i bought mine at TopTropicals in Ft Myers, Florida, about three years ago and it's about 12ft high, 8ft wide and it's on it's second production year..

Would routine pruning of a regular size tree to keep at 15’ tall and 8’ wide be successful in the long term? Asking because I plan on doing this to a Brogdon...

Yes you can but it's going to shorten the trees life but it's going to be negligible . It something they use a lot to make high density avocado grove .
