Hi, I will have new varieties or species "soon" (feb 14 or so), as for instance:

Stock, species:

300, Jenipapo (Genipa americana) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnjCpQhMy2Y
100, Guavirá-johvy (ultra-rare Campomanesia aff. malifolia)
100, Jabuticaba Esperanza (it bears fruit in the middle of the summer)
100, Araticú (maybe A. neolaurifolia)
100, Inga sp. (big fruit, not as big as spectabilis)
100, Yacaratiá (Jacaratiá spinosa)

I will take orders for these new species in some days when I can be sure about all of them, just tell me if you would like to have some seeds.

The Jabuticaba Esperanza sound great since many of the Jaboticaba do not like the extreme summer heat.

You are right! Maybe we should call it "Summer Jaboticaba Esperanza"

Hi, a customer growing some of my seeds told me:

"You asked about the sete capotes.  You sent almost 20 seeds.  They were dry covered in scotch tape with a lot of various Psidium types.  I sowed them in a compost soil mix directly in late Fall (September 12).  Several sprouted out of the soil after 2 months or so.  The other 5-6 took a little over 4 months to sprout out of the soil. The cold weather may have delayed the others from sprouting, not sure. "

Hi, yes it resist -2ºC because they survived our winters at the city where we can get -3 or even -4ºC at the backyard garden.
Cherimoya could resist -4ºC or so.
Yes, araticús are more cold hardy, maybe -5 to -6ºC regarding to the species.

I grow for instance Annona parviflora that is hardy to at least -6ºC, growing well, but also A. neolaurifolia and the other small fruited araticús should do it, no problem with them.

Hi, I agree! this summer is being wonderful, full of nice species and some really rare ones, for instance I never tought I could find Campomanesia mailfolia, Genipapo, Vitex montevidiensis, summer jaboticabas, a very good variety of Annona montana, etc.!

But the Misiones forest is big and very well preserved!

I will send 9 packages or more this week, I am taking orders, cleaning seeds, and I bought some new refrigerators to preserve upcoming fruits and seeds!

Maybe the small Araticú is Annona neosalicifolia. One of your photos showed black skin. https://postimg.cc/HJRsdxyH

Very tasty and rare arazás are starting to ripe here! this is the Psidium season

* Arazá serrano (Psidium longipetiolatum) (feb-march 2020)  Very rare psidium, similar to strawberry guava but hardy to -7 or -8º C, bigger leaves and taller tree. I like it more than strawberry guava: deeper citrusy taste, the skin is harder. This is my favourite Psidium now along with P. robustum and hybrid Psidium; it has stronger taste. Climate: tropical, subtropical, temperate.
