Last Carrie fruit on the tree

This is the last Carrie fruit on the tree two fell off today. It is still green hope it holds till september. I got well over 100 fruit from june till now

Lucky you. My Carrie and NDM bloomed but never produced any fruit. My Kent had one mango that
only a squirrel noticed (and ate).

Looks like athraconse, but from what I've seen, athraconse appear as black dots or clusters.

I spray very little .Tree has not been sprayed with copper in maybe two years. I have a two gallon and fifty gallon sprayers . I just hate to spray what we eat.

Looks like athraconse, but from what I've seen, athraconse appear as black dots or clusters.

The sap can drip down from where stem and fruit meet. The sugars there are where black mold breeds. Not antharcnose as far as I know. Those stripes never stopped me from eating fruit looking like this. If you want to scrub the fruit clean even with some Clorox bleach.

Prolly the stripes need wet air to form the mold too.

Those stripes are anthracnose, at least in part,  as far as I know.  That type of weeping down the sides of the fruit is very common here in Florida when no fungicide is sprayed and may also be sap leaking based.  I have never done an actual microscopic ID of the black stripes, but I am pretty sure it is anthracnose.  Interestingly enough, my Carrie tree, ordinarily a very reliable bloomer (usually 2-3 times in succession every season) set no fruits at all this year. Then, this past week, clustered on the ends of one branch, I found 6 fruits, still hard and very green, nearing maturity.  All part of a very strange mango season.
