Why do cherimoya fruits turned brown and dropped?
« on: August 02, 2021, 12:41:15 PM »
Hi,

These are still very small, maybe an inch all around. Other fruits on the tree are still green and maturing.
Thanks,

Maybe natural thinning. The tree probably can’t support too many at once.
Cheers!

Yes, these fruits were all hand pollinated.
Thanks.

my persimmon and passionfruit did the same and are doing it to a degree now also. They had too much fruit set and regardless of feeding and regular watering ,still dropped some of them.
My cherimoyas havent flowered still so do not have a direct insight on the species's behaviour while fruiting.
