Best/most interesting avocados for top working in SoCal

Have a large Haas tree but wanted to try topworking part of it - what are the best cultivars I could use for this? Bonus points if it is very different from Haas (in a good way).

Pinkerton, Jan Boyce, Sharwil, Reed, Lamb Hass, and Sir Prise - these are top 6 that I have and are excellent.

Why do people say haas instead of hass?  I see it here all the time.  The guys name is Hass. 

For grafting onto hass, I would go with another spreading type like jan boyce or sharwil.  Or you could get some GEM scions.  You could put lots of types on it...
