Title: For Sale - Organically grown Chaya (Cnidoscolus chayamansa)
Post by: RodneyS on May 15, 2020, 10:32:41 PM
1 gal/$10
Fast grower during the warm season.
Leaves are high in protein.  Needs to be boiled for at least 5 minutes before eating (not in aluminum).
Roots easily from cuttings.
No pest issues.

You are right, no pests. Mine is nearly 3 metres tall.  Needs cutting down, it grows well here in sub-tropical Australia.  We were told to boil it for 15-20 mins.

No problem.  It grows extremely fast during the summer.  Remember, it goes dormant during the winter. Tell your gardening buddies about me. I gave half of the sale to Feeding America, and am deciding where the other half goes to.
