Morikami Japanese Gardens in Delray
Fruit & Spice Park in Homestead

I think we would all be in trouble if 1 seed was that toxic.

Just poop into a hole and watch the tree grow.

3
Looking for Cape Gooseberry (Physalis peruviana) seeds.

4
I don't know anything about heat (I'm in Miami); but have you considered a kerosene heater?  As stated, I don't know pros/cons, just throwing it out there.

5
Does anyone know where to get a Moringa tree or seeds in Dade or South Broward County?  Know of any nursery that has them?

Even a trusted online source will do.

Thanks.

I have large rooted passion fruit cuttings for sale.  They were rooted in water.

I'm not sure of the variety as I have 3 different types planted next to each other and they have grown together.  The varieties I have growing are Sweet Sunrise, Possum Purple, and Panama.  All are from PIN.  I have attached images of the cuttings, fruit and flowers.  I don't know which plant's fruits and flowers are in the photos as I have not traced them back to the mother.  As you can see, they are vigorous growers.

The purpose of the RFCI is to unite Florida & the international community. This was strong until the Seed Exchange suffered due to the pressure from govt. Imported seeds were being irradiated, I can share species, if anyone is interested.

I would be interested in more info regarding this.

That's why I have waited until now to join.  My schedule was crazy before so hopefully I can get to the meetings.

I live in North Dade so I figured it would be easier to go North than get down to Coral Gables.

Just joined the Broward RFVC.  Looking forward to attending some events and meeting some others (in person) that also love growing fruit plants.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Where should I prune this mango?
« on: February 12, 2019, 04:20:07 PM »
There are several branches growing outward and one going up.  Should I cut the one going up close to the others?

I have been reading for some time about possible container mangos.  Now that I feel that I am about ready, the final candidates are Pickering and Cogshall.

I don't want to put the tree in the ground and want to maintain it at a smaller size.  A lot I have been reading about these mangos seem to fit that mold.

I have contacted PIN, they have Cogshall in stock but not Pickering.  So I may have to wait.

Are there any suggestions or recommendations on growing these in containers?

Exotic fruit playing cards...hmm.  Is that like dogs playing poker?

I have not seen such a thing.
