Hi Oscar... was just getting ready to plant 5 Garcinia Aristata trees (Rheedia)  not sure..  and i wanted to get a status update on your trees.  you originally posted in 2012 that your rheedia aristata had not fruited but just began to flower.    how as it been lately?  any fruits?

Also if i were to plan space between these 5 trees what kind of spacing do they need?  sounds like not much.. maybe 5' between trees?

Thanks!

Hey guys.. from all the pictures i've found on google these little trees (bushes) look quite small and seem to fruit at a very small size (like a foot or two off the ground)   who has experience with these and can comment on how big they get and planting distance between them etc.

i'm looking to plant them alongside a south wall of my house in a flowerbed area about 5 feet wide.   thanks!

i got my seeds from Miguel i think

Chupa how old is your tree?  i guess better question is how long has it been in the ground?  anyone know how long these take to fruit?  seems like they are more closely resembling a marang or pedalai than jackfruit..  guessing they take about as long

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Achacha season in Australia
« on: March 12, 2017, 12:55:51 AM »
Hi guys.  When is the peak season for achacha in Australia?  And is it available everywhere?  Or just in the north.  I have a friend who lives on the west coast and wants to get some fruit.

20
mucbean.... i've sent your seeds.   let me know if they still haven't arrived. i sent them the same way i sent everyone else.  not sure why yours haven't arrived

21
Ok. Should be up to par now.  Anyone else I missed?  Everyone else that has paid on pay pal has had orders shipped

22
All orders have been shipped friends!  Thanks.  Still have more seeds

23
thanks guys i try to sell good stuff... and yeah i'm not sure its a cross  and i'm not claiming with any certainty that it is...  if it is a regular jackfruit then its by far the best jackfruit I've ever had.  and by far the easiest to work with.

I still have LOTS OF SEEDS LEFT.

24

Great yield too.  I freeze these and they are amazing

I'm in Kona.  I'll give you a tour of my place if your interested.  I'm growing at least 100 different fruit varieties.
