1. map out your property based on how many trees you think you might plant out, regardless if you know or don't know what your going to plant.
2. Talk to your landscaper and see if they can just work out the layout with some sort of flood irrigation. You're paying for the money, might as well have it the way you want it.
3. Save on the sod and ask them to see if you can just mulch everything for you if thats a possibility.

Girdling will work on many trees.

I'm trying to understand. with girdling, do you girdle down to the cambium layer?

Yeah, they will have some available July.  So I guess I'll just wait until then.

Kinda settle on getting this variety, however having a hard time locating one local or online.  any suggestions?

how do we make purchases?

KIet, what agency's name was on the tag?   For example:  USDA, Calf. Dept. Of Food & Agriculture , or some other name. If the tag had a phone number you can call them.  Most likely your tree was inspected for Asian citrus psyllid and citrus greening disease, and then tagged. If your tree proved to be clean you will probably not hear from them again.

I already contacted Roger Meyers, no availability in stock. Local Home Depots doesn't have them too.
