Write a list of your favorite foods. Then Write a list of the food you get at the store. From both list see what is able to grow in your area trouble free and start with the things you are most interested in growing and eating. Thereís not too many things we canít grow here in Florida, hope youíre able to get growing soon!

Guys, I have two flowering bushes Naranjilla. Does this plant require cross-pollination or is it self-pollinated?

Duuude!!! Now that really is awesome and inspirational 👏  Growing tropicals in Russia!?! Thatís something special because everything looks really healthy especially those blooming passion fruit!
I grow some dragon fruit but donít have to much knowledge about them yet. So I canít really comment on your question about watering. Yours seem to be doing well, are you trying to have it grow even faster? Maybe foliar feeding would be better idea??

Pineislander- Youíre not the only one!! Iím going to give peas another try hopefully in the fall!! (Summer seems implausible with the heat index feeling hotter than ē105+F 🥵

just think in 5 years

How far apart are you planting the mangos?

I hear you!! I wish I wouldíve gotten in the ground sooner.... anyway, On the west side of the house that is partially pictured, I spaced 12-15 ft by about 10 ft rows. I might eventually plant in between those leaving about 6 ft of space for higher intensity gardening.. still not sure tho

Finally replaced the Fruit Punch that didnít make it with a 7 gal Duncan thatís been wanting to be planted. May not be as popular with the forum but I enjoy the flavor and it gets me closer to having every tree in the collection established in the ground! So 1 down, 5 more to go!!!

Hey John! Thank you for posting this topic as I also wondered having the same experience with a certain tree. Iíve noticed a substantial difference in flavor comparing fruit from the same tree and the only difference being sun exposure.

Iíve also heard the same thing about gravity pulling the sugars from the top of the fruit to the bottom and sometimes store mangos & pineapples upside down but whether itís made a difference.. Iíve yet to see one.

I've read they do better in part sun but anyone have any success in full sun?

No full sun and the humidity literally cook them down here. They did better here in South Florida in full sun during our ďwinterĒ when we have cooler temps and hardly any humidity. From what I was told, they are cultivated in the high mountains of South America (Columbia is where the one I am referring to originated) where the majority of temperature is drastically cooler
