Tropical Fruit Discussion / Graft from a young tree
« on: February 04, 2019, 09:56:18 AM »
Hello everyone,

If my scion is from a seed planted two years ago, and my rootstock is 3-4 years old, does that mean that when grafted it will give fruit much faster than the seedling tree I've planted 2 years ago? can I expect it to fruit quicker?

thank you

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Difficulties with pulasan
« on: October 06, 2018, 07:04:43 AM »
In the past 4 years, i ordered many times pulasan seeds from different sellers . Sometimes they arrived normal other time sprouting, but I never succeeded at growing them.

I tried to put them straight into the soil,  in coton, in water, with more watering and less, without any fail I didnít succeed. ;) always the same result the seeds rot, after few days full of small worms.

How do you do? How can I grow them?

Do you have some experience with pruning Pometia Pinnata, in order to keep this large tree, between 3 to 5 meters. I would love to control and keep  the height of the tree low.

Does anyone have experience with pruning this tree?
