Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / S> sugarloaf (e4) mango
« on: June 03, 2020, 12:14:20 AM »
This e4 i had for a year now. Its kept outdoors during the summer & winter unprotected. Its acclimated to my area zone 9b, coldest temp i had was 28f last winter accdng to my sensors. The reason why its still small is because i constantly use the wood to graft on my trees. I have no room for this.

Im selling this e4 for $100

Local pick up only( san fernando valley) 91307 zip code

I have limited wood. Minimum of 5 scions ($30) shipping included w/in the US.

Scions can be a combination between the 3.

Im adding a few pieces of ppc scions.

First come first serve.

One of my friends im Florida told me that the Dept of Agri are cutting down all Lychee trees in Lee County, Florida due to Aceria Litchu (lychee erinose mite) & Florida is in quarantined?

This was due to a guy who brought plants from China which were infested with the said mites. First citrus, now litchis. I hope they are able to control this problem or else, in a few years it will reach California &all over the Mainland US.

We Californians wont be seeing lychee's anytime soon on the nurseries unless thee existing. :(

Citrus General Discussion / Sap orange tree
« on: May 08, 2017, 02:42:22 PM »
It has a sap on the bottom trunk & Should I be worried on this 30 - 40 years old orange tree?

I would love to know if there are any soil microbiologists or anyone thats experienced on soil diseases here vs beneficial microbes.

I would like to know your take on brewing compost tea (beneficial microbes) that its enough to counter to any soil borne diseases?

What kind of bacteria will  ingest this bad bacteria or bad fungi vice-versa?

I have been told by Josh by boogie brew that if u want beneficial bacteria you brew (aact)it for 12-18 hours (base on his boogie brew plus ingredients) & if u want beneficial fungi u brew the the tea 18-36 hours... and this will depend on the temperature... if its hot weather,  the quicker the bacteria or fungi fluorish thus reducing the brew time.

Thank u all in advance..would love to see ur inputs on this.
