Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / sale
« on: June 14, 2012, 04:28:32 PM »
scala nursery in santa ana is having a sale, a grand reopening if you will, with new ownership.  the last owners were halfway into retirement it seemed so they weren't dedicated to getting more plants.  but the new ownership seems to be getting more varieties than ever before.

50% off on certain selections, 30% on others, and 20% for the rest.

i got a hasya sapodilla at ~$65 with the 20% off about 2 feet tall.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / jobe

spike fertilizer.  now that i've thought about it, i did put one jobe spike into the jaboticaba's pot, and that might be the source of too much fertilizer, but i thought that it was a slow release type of fertilizer also.

then in the beginning i did use a root stimulator, vitamin b something and that could also be the reason.
