Tropical Fruit Discussion / Zone 9A tropical fruit recommendation
« on: August 08, 2020, 03:57:24 AM »
Hi, I dont know if this question was previously answered somewhere in this forum but I will ask anyway. From your experience what is (are) tropical fruit trees that can handle zone 9a. Most of the time winter temps dont go below -5C, but on occasion it can go lower (depending on how hard winter is that year). So if you know what will successfully grow in my area please write, especially if you are in this zone and have attempted growing some tropical fruits. Thanks.

I am trying to germinate mangosteen seeds. First I let them soak for 24h then I used paper towel method but my seeds are turning black and gooey. Is it too late to save them or they are gone for good?

Hy guys, after searching on many forums and online sites, I decided to write here in hope that someone will have or knows where to obtain this certain banana. I am talking about Musa blue java (Ice cream banana) which is nowhere to be found. If someone has suckers or corm let me know. I am located in Europe (Croatia). Thanks

Hy all, I joined this forum in search of Ichang lemon and improved Meyer lemon seeds. I have found few sellers on eBay but they are asking way too high for 10 seeds (shame). I was wondering does anyone here has those seeds and is willing to send me some. I am eager to grow Ichang and improved Meyer (because od cold hardiness) and want to try grow them in my climate. I live in Croatia but in my microclimate ordinary lemon wouldnt survive. That is why I am searching those two lemon species. Anyway, if someone is willing to help let me know. Thanks for reading.
