Tropical Vegetables and Other Edibles / Another Inga ID
« on: September 07, 2019, 10:05:17 PM »
Hey all! Was wondering what species inga this is? Looks like the last one on Weird Fruit Explorerís taste test. My old boss said heíd give me some pods from his tree and that it was sweeter then others that he has tried. I expected him to bring feuillei or spectabilis as that seems to be the most common here, but he brought me these. He didnít know the name as he told me it was an old type that was just called Inga when he got it decades ago. Any ideas?

Hi everyone! Iím trying to figure out exactly what are the steps to import some seeds in to the USA as figuring out the steps off the aphis website is kinda confusing. I figured somebody on this forum does it so I just wanted some tips as to what I should do or have the shippers do. Thanks again!

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Inga???
« on: March 10, 2019, 04:46:16 AM »
Hi so I found this plant just randomly growing in a decorative planter at work and I swear it looks like my ice cream Bean tree. Itís a public park and the planter is next to a pavilion so maybe someone threw a seed in. Kinda seems unlikely though. Any ideas?

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Annona disease ID?
« on: December 14, 2018, 11:45:21 PM »
Hi I was wondering if anyone here can help me ID this condition. It seems to only be affecting my annona seedlings. So far has hit my purple sugar apples, cherimoya, atemoya and Rollinia seedlings. Starts off as yellow lines on the leaves which turn black. Eventually the leaf crumpled up, dissecates, and falls off. Thank you guys again!
