Tropical Fruit Discussion / Fruits and Neo-Darwism
« on: January 10, 2020, 08:26:01 PM »
Neo-Darwism is founded on the belief that “mutation’s in genes provide the raw materials needed for evolution”. According to some Evolutionists these genetic mutations can cause observable variations in organisms shapes and size dubbed “Morphology”.

I have noticed a few oddly shaped Mangoes and papaya  displaying some observable mutation from year to year and im interested to hear if you have noted any mutations in your fruits?

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Location for Rollinia/Biriba tree
« on: June 16, 2019, 10:08:55 AM »
Im looking to put another Rollinia in Ground. The area im interested in planting the tree acts as drain way for water during the summer rains. The area does not hold water but the ground does get quite saturated. I had a guava tree die from root rot in the same spot and Im wondering if the same will happen if I plant a Rollinia there?
