Starling1, not accepting PMs? Possible to get in ahold of you somehow? thanks

2
That would be appreciated. I'll be in touch when I obtain some rootstock.

Still looking for a source of this and other productive flavorful guava varieties. The offer in previous replies didn't materialize. 7 months later and they won't be propagating after all...

The search continues.

4
Any sources out there?

5
Thanks for the reference. They don't have any in stock although now at least I'm on the end of a long wait that other people have been on for over a year apparently.

In the meantime, I'm still interested in learning about other sources of a Molina 4 and other improved Lucuma varieties for SoCal.

Looking for a source of La Molina 4 and other improved Lucuma varieties as well as seedlings for rootstock. Thanks

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Dwarf Guava rootstock
« on: June 05, 2015, 04:25:11 PM »
I was wondering what was the best rootstock semi-dwarf high density characteristics and where it could be obtained in SoCal.

The following is an interesting article on this subject and I was hoping someone might have information regarding the availability of this type of rootstock:

Any seeds currently available? Thanks!

Yes I have seeds available, I don't think I can ship scions out of my quarantine zone to another place in California. I got my scion wood from the "Citrus Clonal Protection Program" a few years ago and grafted a few up.

Thanks Mark, meant to post that on another thread. I'm definitely interested in knowing about the next opportunity to obtain CCPP scion wood however.

Thanks for the input, I've edited my original post accordingly. If Rollinia are true to seed I would be interested in seeds as well.

Is new Zealand less strict about plant exports? I've heard of people bringing back feijoa from there. I didn't ask how.

Sounds like getting8NY stuff out of Australia is scarier than getting the USDA permit and post entry quarantine.

I would be interested to know how they were able to bring those feijoa back from NZ. Are there any NZ members who could provide some insight?

24
Nice selection, when do you anticipate the marang seedlings being available?

25
I'd like to buy 15 seeds. I read that the fruit pulp can range in color from white to reddish, what color is the pulp of this particular selection you offer?
