Hi Nurse Jolly, I'm curious as to how your mango trees are doing some 3 years later? I read many of the posts following your request for assistance. Many had very good advice and guidance.

I see this topic is dated. But here's my 2 cents. I have several mango trees, some Fl Varieties, some SE Asia varieties, and an excellent seed grown. None of my mango trees are from India. They just don't seem to thrive in my area (S Brevard Co). The NDM #4, today's preferred cultivar, does well most everywhere it's warm enough.

My young Cecropia peltata is getting ready to bloom. Is there anything I can do to enhance the chances of it fruiting? It's in a 10 gallon pot.

Made my first trip to Excalibur yesterday with the Brevard Tropical Fruit Club. It was not my first trip to a nursery, but it was one of the best for variety of really rare fruit trees and some unusual cultivars. They were very courteous, helpful and the prices were reasonable. Cruising around the nursery in a golf cart was nice too.

Hi everyone, I just an old warthog rooting his way through gardens and compost piles. Enjoy growing tropical fruit trees, but most of all eating the fruit. I am joining this site hoping to increase my knowledge and exposure to rare and new tropical fruit trees.
