Yes be ready to walk. You have to be very methodical. It is like a huge square. So it easy to miss trees. Still interesting to see at any time of the year.

I learned here that jaboticaba love to have their feet wet. So I have many seedlings in different pots inside a Shallow container with 2 cm of water. And they look happy

I saw it happening to a palm in the park. But it also gives regular coconuts. It s the tree mature. .? I saw many trees that produce more fruit that they can keep it on the tree until they are ripe.

This is 12 feet now but start fruiting 2 years ago.

It took 5 years to fruit, but the area is dry for it.

I am growing 2 in soil in south Florida with mulch . And many in containers. In containers look happier.

Yes I grow them from seed and move them to bigger containers and they did not have a problem. I found out that seeds taste better if you let them sprout in humidity
