Yes Kelley, I have been here a while, Millet is a real guru from way back. We were with a Citrus Forum then that is no longer exist. There is a gent on this forum that had resurrected the whole forum on his own.
You can still read all the articles, very interesting to say the least, good reading for you.Bob.

Citrus General Discussion / Re: Cushiony Cotton scale
« on: January 07, 2019, 04:49:50 PM »
I had scale on 3 tree's, don't know if this is the same kind of scale in the topic. I used my wife cleaner Shout by accident. sometime i use her empties. Left it on for a 1/2 hr and wash it of.
I thought i am going to kill the tree. Guess, no more scale, never hurt the tree's.

Darn, it donít apply to my container tree,s as they are much smaller. So I am continue to use Peters and Osmocote, the way I have been doing. So far so good. Maybe there will be something better in the near future, like a better Osmocote but not more expensive.

There are 3 in this series, Shasta and two others. Plus Lee Nova. Do they all have different taste or are one better than...... Very curious since I have them all but no fruit yet. They are only 2years old. No good gauge.

My local Hydroponic store has these clay balls, are round and large. Their use is for hydroponic growing. It is not cheap, but worth trying, I have been eyeballing these big bags for a while. I have too many big containers.

During the season I use Peters 25 , 8 ,15 HP and also Osmocote plus , 6 month veriaty this starting in May.
In the growroom, I use only Osmocote for the winter.
Kellog at Home Depot is what i buy, comparing the two i find the Kellog more to my liking.

Laaz, what is that brown stuff on top your mix, Osmocote? If so seems like a little much. I use Osmocote plus now for all my citrus till sometimes in March, than go back with Peters.

Sylvain, doing so much to help out a lot of folks and also important to see some of the members coming back . This forum  was just incredible. Laaz just didnít know how valuable he was, when he started.
A true forum like this would be incredible exciting. All of a sudden old names pop up again, these folks got me started in citrus.
Millet, you should remember the one and only "Buddinman". I talk to him last year and early this spring. Then there is Joe Real.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Atemoya pruning advice
« on: October 02, 2018, 07:59:36 AM »
I would clean the bottom branches first, fruits will be laying on the ground. Looking at your tree tells me you got good soil, so you can prune the top also. I would suggest about in half.

« on: September 29, 2018, 08:17:47 AM »
Workshop stays at 68*, Fruits seems to continue to ripen but maybe at a slower pace. In the back is a Jaboticaba and a Atemoya which has a fruit. The Jabo has a lot of fruits and flowers are still outside.
They are all on dollies of the concrete floor.
