Dear Domnik,
Maybe you are right if the case is this simple.
Honestly I donít like to argue and donít feel comfortable with publishing letters that are meant to be sent privately. This is my last comment about Paulís orders as I choose to give my attention and energies to my children.
With the first order Zoli replaced 2 varieties (and he documented to USDA). The situation could happen because Paul wanted to fit in everything that is possible to 1 EMS package - and the seeds couldnít wait because they can start to sprout any time. After this case with proper communication we would find a solution together.
Paul also placed a second order. He made several changes - with the intention to fit everything in one EMS package again. He also ordered 2 seeds from a lot of varieties. I told him normally we have our minimal quantities because like this he makes 1 package very difficult. He thanked me to be flexible and after a few changes he payed for his order. At this point I realized it would be an EMS and being super flexible I let him to put 1 more kind of seed in the package. After this he made a few changes again, added around 6 more species. I told him we cannot fit more seeds to this order and asked him to pay for the second half of this order. He didnít response for a few days. As the Lowianus season changed we agreed with Zoli we cannot wait more to organize this difficult and sensitive order. Zoli spent 2 days to buy everything from very different locations. He drove the motorbike for 8-10 hours in traffic jams to have everything super fresh. Paul didnít pay for the second half but he started the job anyway. He spent his night to prepare his seeds, he could clean and pack around 60% of the package and sent a photo to Paul. He wrote the seeds are ready, please pay the remaining money as we would like to send them next day.
Paul told him he want another change, he wants only seeds for the already paid value. He put a list together which contained all the seeds that were not on the photo (not prepared yet) and he threw away almost everything from the seeds that were already cleaned and prepared.
This made me very disappointed as I love my husband and I know how much did he work and also how much he spent to fulfill this order.
After this we went back to the original (well, it was already changed a few times) order, what he paid for and we sent those seeds that were paid for.
Again, I donít like to publish things that meant to be between a few people.
I do this to explain why does Zoli refuse to pay Paulís money back.
He threw out more than 8 hours of work. He spent a lot to the fruits which seeds Paul didnít pay for at the end. And I emailed hours with him to follow his changes (and I am still write this comment lol). In the end we didnít have any profit on this order and we didnít count the hours of work both of us put in.

At the end this package was destroyed for an unknown reason in Malaysia, this never happened before. On the package there was Paulís green-yellow label, making it clear he has the permit to receive the seeds. We have no idea what happened.

I learnt to not to be this flexible and say stop next time.
We always find a solution with everyone who respects our work. Fortunatelly most of the people do, they are the reason we still send seeds.
Both cases could happen because Zoli puts the seeds to the first place. He is very committed to spread the best quality seeds and to pack them with the best care. He sees that the seeds cannot wait for communication or anything  else and he acts immediately when the seeds need it.

I donít have anything else to say and I wonít visit the forum in the following 2-3 months as I take care of 3 kids on my own and that is enough for me🧡
I wish peace for everyone and I hope in the future we can affect each otherís life in a positive, constructive way.

Dear Paul,
I have no idea what does it mean at the tracking. We just walked in the post office and sent your package with the label. Of course we didnít go in and said to the woman at the counter: ďI would like to send this package with EMS, but please destroy itĒ.
This is insane.
Please be rational, of course our intension is to send the seeds without problems.
It is shocking for us as well. We have no idea why did they do that and we donít know how van we trust in sending a package with the label.

Please if anyone had an experience like this before help us to find out howcan we avoid this problem in the future.

They are seed Pirate's not plant or fruit experts, can't trust your money with a looter of booty and such things.
Your money is not going to rebuild the forest or help save a species, it's for beer's, travel and scallywagging.
Sapote, sure it's a sapote! Delicious, creamy, mouth watering delicious too.

Dear Bush2Beach,
I am happy it is important for you where does your money go to.
We live a healthy lifestyle, our family eats mainly fruits, occasionally vegetables. No beer obviously.
We travel to collect these species to our farm in Costa Rica.
We work hard to buy land and give home to our precious seedlings.
We wish a world where everyone can enjoy these amazing fruits without travelling - which is in our opinion - is a harm to Nature.
I think it is important to know and choose who do we support with our money if possible. Please let me know if you have further questions before buying anything from us.

4
Dear Paul,
I am sorry for your loss.

5
Dear Paul,
I am sorry for your confiscated package. It happens sometimes.
You made several changes in this order and you got exactly what your original order was and what you paid for.
We worked hard to organize this package together and thanks for your changes we lost a lot from our work.
As far as I know your previous package arrived in good condition and your concern was that some seeds started to sprout - as USDA almost confiscated them.
I am sorry for your lost money and our lost work too.

Btw we donít track the packages simply because we send too many and we donít have resources to track.
And of course we didnít do anything for cancellation, just sent the package with your label via EMS.
Unfortunately what happens in the post office and on the way doesnít depend on us.

Cempejack is a natural cross between Cempedak and Jackfruit. It is super rare and always different. This fruit was harvested the day before it was perfectly ripe to eat. Our one year old son was super excited as he saw it and wanted to taste it immediately. We waited one day and it totally worth it. I saw people to squeze lemon or lime on their Cempedak to balance its concentrated sweetness. This Cempejack tasted exactly like that: a natural lemonade made from Cempedak, Jackfruit and Lime. It was super refreshing, juicy and fulfilling. We have very limited seeds as almost all the seeds already grew roots in the fruit.

The first time we saw graveolens outside of Borneo (this one is from Hulu Langat area in Selangor) and the first time we saw white graveolens. The fruit tastes nutty complimented by a pungent alcoholic taste that makes it more characteristic then an average graveolens.

A classic graveolens taste with its strong nuttiness, thick creamy flesh. The skin of the fruits were brighter green than we have experienced in Borneo and the flesh is a lighter yellow.

The thorns and the color of flesh is what made this lowianus special for us. There is a line of tiny thorns on both sides of the sections making the durian look like it had zippers. The color of the flesh is golden yellow and its smooth creamy consistency is seducing.

The villagers leave at 6 and head out to the mountains above. They return at 10 hiking on the steep pathways with 40 kgs of durians on their back. We ask for the Hill King and pop one open on the spot. Its deep yellow color and silky soft wrinkly surface is a good sign and the taste confirms the status. Its a balanced mix of sweetness, nutty, alcoholic and bitter tones. The size is big with plenty of flesh: one fruit is a decent meal for two even with our standards...

We love those hybrids that combine the good aspects of their origins. This one is a huge round shaped durian that can grow up to 7 kg and the taste is dominated by the lowianus. The flesh is simply too much for one fruitarian or 3-4 normal person to finish. When we arrived to the shop they gently asked us to park somewhere else but under The Tree then presented us two huge durians that dropped that day. The taste is nutty, with a bit alcoholic, fruitiness. The color is golden yellow and the consistency is smooth creamy and the flesh to seed ratio is very good.

When they brought this Durian from the back everyone got excited. They stood around the fruit while the vendor opened it. We got curious what the big deal was. We went closer where we could see. We saw the most orange zibethinus weíve ever seen. Wow. Beautiful. We asked what is it. Red Flower, they said. We asked if they have more. No, there is only one tree. To get some fruit we have to order and wait a few days. Of course we ordered 4 fruits. Today we were very excited - this is our day to taste this unique fruit. We arrived and they brought the fruit from back - this time for us. Other people recognised and wanted to buy them but today we are the lucky ones (of course they ordered to the following days). They are super fresh, smell as strong as intense the color. We open them and for minutes we try to make a photo that shows all the intensity of the vibrant color. The photos are close enough but in reality the flesh is even more orange, like flame. And we taste. It is hard to describe the flavor because they were so intensely numb - the characteristic flavor and sensation of unique, super fresh old tree Durians. The texture is super sticky, the flesh sticks on our fingers, our tounges almost sticks on to the roof of our mouth. Sweet, caramel, cappuchino. Numb. Nutty and sticky. Numb. Hazelnut, almond. Numb. We are amazed. We order again. We are waiting for our next turn.

We will have soon❤️

A new Lowianus appeared: they are long and has different shape than the previous fruits. It has stronger and different smell than the others: less fruity and closer to D. zibethinus. After eating two of them we can say - this is different. The texture is like the best zibethinus: thick and creamy mousse. The pods at the bottom are whipped marzipan. The pods at the top are cheesecake and custard, a few of them are mascarpone and cheesecream. One of those pieces of fruits that blows our mind and motivates us to continue the hunting. This Durian worth to travel to the other side of the world.

We named this variety by the pinkish color between the spikes. It has yellow very sticky flesh that is the sweetest we have ever experienced in a durian - including oxleyanus. The taste is so powerful - after a bite we couldnít talk for a minute. It took us back to our childhood memories when our grandmother mixed brown sugar and butter to make a cake. The texture is so sticky it is everywhere: in and on our mouth and on our fingers. After eating one pod everything else seems to be tasteless. When we finally can say something the only word that comes to our tounge is: MORE.

They brought these Durians from the mountain. We gave the name ďBukitĒ. It means hill in Malay. They are small and round. The vendor knows we are after wild Durians but he waves us to taste this one. They look special. We smell them and look at each other: yes, there is something here. We decide to try one. When we open we see that it is full with flesh - it is hard to believe this much flesh could fit in that fruit. After eating a lot of Durians in the last three years we value every Durian for its own character. But there is a tiny part in us that always seeks for bitter bites. Bitter like dark chocolate. Or - when we are lucky - bitter like black coffee. We were lucky this time. The soft, creamy flesh filled our mouth. It tasted like creme liquor with more alcohol and less milk - one that is too much for some and super satisfying for others. And the last two pods gave something we will remember for years - like we remember our most bitter Kapri two years ago: the blackest black coffee ever. So intense and flavorful that it numbs our tounge.

We read this Durian was the previous Musang King: it was very popular before. We can absolutely see why. It has a lot of creamy flesh. This nice Durian respects us and treat us very kindly. We can fill ourselves with milk chocolate with hazelnut eating a half fruit - fulfilling the deepest desire of the children in us.

Still waiting for Musang King seeds, when will you have them for sell?

I didnít forget😇
Most of the Musang King seeds are small, not viable and the fruit is very expensive to start to find seeds.
However I hope in the end of July🌷

Cool stuff. Where specifically did you find them?

Peninsular Malaysia, around Broga

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Durio lowianus
« on: July 07, 2018, 08:24:11 AM »
Finally we experienced Durio lowianus. It is magic: no odor, just nice cherry and rum punch smell, creamy as a dream and has heavenly taste: marzipan, cherry dessert, dough. The fresh fruit numbs our mouth and tounge. It is puzzling why is zibethinus the chosen one to cultivate over lowianus.

The characteristic of D. lowianus in our experience:
1. No odor, pleasant smell
2. Unlike with zibethinus, freshness is not as essential: a 1-2 days old lowianus doesnít smell bad and the taste is not ruined: just more matured and characteristic - however we still prefer the fresh fruits
3. Big size of the fruit, like zibethinus (other wild species are smaller, it is common to have just 1-2 pods in one fruit)
4. There is a lot of flesh on the seed, this makes special between the wild species

We found and named three different D. lowianus and are still looking for other trees.

Early Bird
Zoli spotted them from far: their brilliant green color was unusual between the village Durians. The smell is unique: like Rum Punch. We were very excited to taste our first Durio lowianus - probably the first pieces of the season. The texture is thick and sticky. It is fleshy. The taste is so special - like a totally new fruit. It is nutty with mint and with something else, something beyond the taste. It gives a feeling like it would fulfill something else as well, not just hunger. We enjoyed every pod slowly. After each one it felt like it is stroking our mouth and tongue. We felt high and light after eating it, almost like flying.

Cherry
After a few days tasting Durio lowianus we totally fall in love with them. We found a new source with different fruits: they are super creamy and taste like dough with marzipan and strong cherry dessert aroma. Smaller fruits with less seeds and more flesh. The fresh fruit has numb sensation.

Sweetheart
It was love at first sight: beautiful heart shape, radiant green color, long and curved spikes. We just watched the two fruits that came from far away from a huge, one hundred years old tree. The smell enchanted us: fruit cocktail with cherry. The smell surrounded us. When we opened we smelt strong Hazelnut smell. It was unbelievable creamy and milky: the texture was almost like liquid coffee cream. While they had the typical cherry liquor taste, it was very different from what we experienced before: amazing coffee with a lot of milk as we got when we were children. Hazelnut cream, marzipan and numb taste. Our fingers smelled like amazing, mild cafť au lait after eating it.
