Oh  I just miss Roger Meyer. I would buy a medium priority mailbox full for $35 shipped. I grew up with the Indian aka tropical Jujube. Those were great. The Chinese jujube is as close as I am gonna get to the real stuff.

Looking to buy some fresh jujube fruit. Maybe a medium size priority mailbox full. Preferably Honeycrisp, Lang or So. Looking for mid ripe stage (green/brown).
I have a Lang tree. Gave 1 fruit this year and a So tree that gave about 10 fruits.
Let me know if you have any and the price. Thanks

Hmm. Did not know you need a certificate to ship to the USA. Maybe to the other countries. I have received seeds from Holland in the past in the US no certificate . Maybe they changed the rules since then.
BTW nice job with your seeds. Ga zo door!!!!!!!
I am originally from that part of the world.

Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Re: USPS delaying packages
« on: August 21, 2020, 06:07:18 AM »
Well I got my package on Wednesday. Was shipped Saturday. So not that big delay. 1 day.  And I live out east.
Fruits looked great. I enjoyed some of them yesterday. I guess it depends on what you ship. If I look at the passion fruits that they sell here in the grocery stores they look like they came from another planet .
And people still buy them.

Have done that in the past, but with the whole corona thing I was not going into any store. So that's why I bought the seeds online.

I have to post this while I am in heaven with my avocado sandwich. I cut open one Hass this afternoon.  Amazing.
My hubby had bought some by Wegmans. I cut those up first. Absolutely NO Comparison. See pictures.
1st picture are the ones from Wegmans. Could not even be eaten. Trash.
Second picture my lovely Hass from Brad. And it tasted great with my avocado/mayo spread and lettuce with Gouda cheese sandwich.
Thanks again for offering these for sale.

My avocados arrived today. Great looking. Can't wait to taste them. And I love avocado. Growing up we always had a tree in the backyard. Free produce. And we ate a lot of avocado sandwiches back in the days..

Just my 2 cents. I am originally from that part of the world. It's a developing country just like mine so things are not as organized as in the USA or larger countries. An international parcel goes thru a lot of "hands" checking if you do not mail stuff you're not supposed to before it is ready to be shipped. That's on a regular day. Now with this virus situation a lot of places are closed and the few open can't handle all the work effectively. So be patient. Check with your post office. Worst case scenario. Your package is lost or damaged. But no one could predict  that. It's a chance you take when ordering stuff from foreign countries.
Enjoy the day.
