Insanely the residential market is still rocking with Industrial close behind.   The only people really feeling a pinch is retail (short term) and office (long term).   I wonder how many people realized they could work and be productive from home during this pandemic.

On a side note, how did you know what I do for a living Zands?  I don't think we've ever met

LOL!  Thank you for your concern but I am fine.  I haven't been on the site in a while but a friend sent me a screen shot so I thought I would respond.   I have been in lockdown since March 9th waiting out the virus so thankfully my family and I are all safe.  Also, in case Zands was worried, I sold the bulk of my portfolio over the last 2 years as the prices rose to numbers I couldn't fathom and am awaiting the crash to buy back more.  (Any south Florida commercial realtors with off market deals, feel free to reach out). I will likely take this season off as I do not want to enter a post office during covid times but rest assured, I'll be back to selling overpriced scions in no time!

5 people have answered the call so far.  Who else has rooted sugar cane cuttings they're looking to sell.  Help me solve my boredom and put a few bucks in your pocket at the same time.  Win- win!

Thanks Jabo!

Keep the PMs coming folks, I'm in quarantine twiddling my thumbs.   Also looking for stuff for veggie/herb garden.

TOP DOLLAR PAID so PM me with anything you've got that can occupy me during this mind numbing boredom

I am interested in purchasing any and all varieties of rooted sugar cane.  This is my new obsession come one, come all!

I'm locked at home with nothing to do but garden so I'm willing to pay desperation prices.

If you've got rooted sugar cane, I want it!

We are booked solid for the Oct 7th shipment and have minimal room in the Oct 14th shipment.  Anything submitted from this point will most likely be shipped on Oct 21st

OK Folks, We are officially all caught up with the back orders.  I am going away this weekend so all orders send in to me from this moment onward will be processed on Monday October 7th.

Thank you for your continued business Thera.  It is always appreciated.

After a HUGE push today, we caught up with our back orders.  Everyone still queued will be shipped next week and we can even squeeze a couple more people into next weeks shipments.  I know my Cali friends are dealing with a closing grafting window so we have been pushing to get orders out in order to accommodate.

Thank you all for your continued patronage.

Hello Folks,

Just to clarify, we do a 10 piece minimum order with a 4 piece minimum per variety.  Scions are $5 each and we currently have 3 weeks of orders queued up.  Thank you for the overwhelming interest and I will make every effort to process the orders ASAP.  Orders are processed on a first come, first serve basis.

Thank you,
George

We have a tropical storm hitting Florida this weekend so it may push orders out one week further.  Please PM me with any questions.  If your order is currently in and paid, you should get your scions within the next 2-3 weeks, depending on weather.  All orders to come in from this point onward is looking at a 3-4 weeks out.  Sorry for the delays but we had quite a set of orders again this year and we are trying to keep up with demand.

Regards,
George

Thank you all for your orders.  I hope the scions catch and in a few years you are drowning in mangos.

I am about 2 weeks out on orders so anything that comes in from this point onward will be filled on Sept 9 or beyond.

Always a pleasure Linh.

It was my pleasure Alex.  I hope they bring you fruit for years to come.

In an effort to not let anyone slip through the cracks, please send all orders and communication via  forum PM.  All of the emails end up in my junk mail and I make every effort to comb through the junk to find it but would prefer if you simply submit orders through the forum PM.

Thanks,
George

We're finished fruiting and back up and running and will be accepting orders for shipment on Monday Aug 26th.  I will fulfill the orders queued up before any new orders are cut hence the two week delay.  Please PM me with any orders.

18
Yes but almost everything has fruit now so it will be a few months before I am ready to sell again

19
Please send all orders through the forum messaging.  Many people who email me using my email address directly are being lost in my junk mail folder.  Please do all correspondence through the forum.  Thanks and happy grafting

My pleasure.  I'm glad they arrived in good condition.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / which grapes do best in south florida?
« on: September 16, 2018, 09:37:09 AM »
I am having a pergola installed as a cover for a front porch (approx 15' x 40').  What would your suggestions be for the best grape to do well in South Florida but is also a good eating grape.  The spot is almost full light with some sections filtered by a large tree.  Also looking to buy/trade those grapes if you know where they are sold or have any.  Willing to swap budwood from any of my almost 200 mango trees for this as well.
