Naa chang daeng also is from Taiwan, i ate it a few times...huge red mango, very nice...better than the other huge one called Jakrapat...which is Yu-Wen in taiwan.

But those huge mango's sometimes have issues inside where they are overripe or so.

I also grew chang daeng in the past, it made very long drooping branches as well and had huge leaves...

All those new improved varieties from Taiwan are great, also for guava's , wax apples and annona's.
Thank's! Good info! And you know the purple nam doc mai?

Iirc i ate them a few times some years ago..haven't seen them lately but they belong to the new Taiwanese mango varieties.

What i remember is that it tasted good/great and was a huge yellow mango ..

I prefer Ivory (Naa Chang in thailand) though and planted a grafted tree of it...it grew long slander branches which were always drooping...it never bloomed though and i culled it after some years. I can buy Naa Chang mango's on the market.

Golden Queen is better than mahachanok though...i assume the thai grown golden queens and other new taiwanese varieties go to Singapore these days to fetch a high price.

Also all the other taiwanese mango's taste great and some are huge. My favorit mango is Mun Khun Si and number 2 is Ivory.
I have a Nga Chang Daeng, red ivory small tree... not yet fruiting. If she goes well maby will fruit in two years.

Hello Luis, i would like to ask you how do you protect your more sensitive citrus such as buddha hand citron in the winter? You get quite lower temps than the ones it should tolerate
Hello my friend, how are you? I never got any problem with my citrus trees regarding low temp. The budda's hand lemon is planted on ground with no protection.
The only citrus that suffers with cold temp is the Chandler pomelo, but it recovers well and fruits every year...

I wonder why UCR list NZ Lemonade tree with the sweet limes.  The parentage is unknown.  I would think the tree would be listed as a sweet lemon.  I have a producing NZL tree, and can attest the fruit is very nice tasty.
Hi! Hello Millet! And do you know this pursha lime? Thank's!

I just got rid of my key limes also.  Bearss/Persian is clearly the way to go.
Thank's! The persian lime i told is in fact a sweet lime. I have one lime but i don't know if it's a bearss or a key but i think it's a bearss.

Persian lime is a fast growing tree.  Your tree should do fine.
Yes indeed as its my tallest citrus tree in a 1/2 wine barrel.
Thank's! That's important to know...   ;D
And always very productive. Best limes for sure as I got rid of my mexican lime tree. These are bigger, juicier and way more flavorful IMHO.
That's really great to know!   ;D
