Hello,
so i will buy seeds of watermelon an papaya

I would like to put seeds in a little container for seeding and after put seedlings in the ground

but I would like to create a right right ... according to your experience which is the best ?
I buy directly in a nursery ? or the best is create ?

And after I must create the same earth also in the ground where I will put plants ?

hello,
I opened this thread in order to speak about species of annona

I have an Annona cherimola (I think fino de jete) but I know that there are squamosa (sugar apple), cherimola x squamosa (atemoya), muricata, glabra and also a red species.

What change among varieties about the growth of the tree, taste of fruits and so on?

What is the varieties which grows more than others ? it's possible to cut and keep low the plants ?  or it's impossible to have fruits under a certain height?
my cherimoya grows up to 7 metres or can grow also more ? but if i keep it under 5 metres will give me fruits ?
I would like to plant close but at what distance?

both cherimoya and others are creamy fruits ?

Furthermore I read that muricata stinks .. but it's possible ?

Hello,
I would buy coffea arabica but I don't know if in italy it can grow without protection

there is a seller in island canarie which have a local coffea arabica which gives fruit in one year but it's a different variety or all are in this way?

I'm italian and live in Sicily
I like much watermelon but here there is only watermelon red
I was in Thailand and I eat the wonderful and very good watermelon yellow but It's possible to plant in the ground in sicily ?
Need the same things of watermelon red ?
I know that there is also orange


to propagate I need to have seeds really ?

Hello everybody,
I bought on april 2012 and put in new pots in a august 2012 these beautiful plants of tropical fruits

The problem is when I will remove them from pots and put in the ground ..... what I will must to do ?  cut some roots ? because in the pot it's possible that roots turn on itself not ? there aren't problem with the next growth in the ground ?

I will put them in the ground for next spring ... after that I will cut all my bad cupressus that are behind where tere are now the pots with tropical fruits


Avocado but I don't know the variety (I hope bacon, fuerte or haas .... also if they have a huge growth)



Mango Tommy Atkins .... unfortunately I have this variety (The growth is also huge) .... but I will buy others like nam doc mai ... keitt



Feijoa sellowiana


Myrciaria cauliflora


Annona cherimoya "fino de jete"


dyospyros dygina


Casimiroa edulis (I don't know the variety)


Eugenia (what type is ? uniflora? brasiliensis?)  ... the blot on leaves are normal ?

there are only few information on pomelo but it's very strange because is the varieties from where limon grows for example

why there are little information ?

I know that there are some very huge varieties, honey is one type, where is possible to know others?

I live in  Italy (in Palermo) where the weather in the winter is good for many varieties of tropical fruits

I'm seeking some dwarf mangos .... I read that the definition is condo mango

But in the pot is possible to have a fruttification? and which varieties?

I look nam doc mai, pickering, but there are varieties dwarf?
