I have two papayas in the pot from last summer...hence passed the winter also without leaf

yes is a grafted plant.... I bought it on april 2012 and I put it in this new pot in august 2012 .... for the next april 2014 I want to remove it from this pot and put in the ground but my question is ..... since that the plant now have fruits ....now for the next summer according to his process of fruttification ..... when I will put it in the ground there will be a risk to lose fruits considering that in the ground the roots open fast for the freedom that will find ?

and what type of ground this plant wants?   my ground is a little hard
I will put in the ground manure and plough for november
