Please check the list as I sold out of a few items. If itís not in the list I donít have it. I will have another anona sale in July as Iím relocating to YucatŠn in 2022 and selling off some properties and will have half the inventory in the spring of 2021.
Thanks again for your support

Frank, friendly suggestion, dont send on thursday or friday or scions get stuck over the weekend.

I know things get hecktic with lots of orders and you may not even thing about it.  Just a heads up.

Im hoping mine make it on saturday.

I agree, it's good practice to send start of the week, having said that it's only Sunday for USPS  and an extra day for Annona scions should be just fine, they stay alive for days if packaged correctly.

Thatís a great idea when you have 2 or 3 orders of 10 scions ea but when you are dealing w hundreds of scions it doesnt work. You harvest prep and ship. Weekend does not damage any scions

YesJeff, we get 70 to 400 chill hours per year. This year itís been mild yet I counted 167 chill hours. This is a Brewster I planted 2 years ago, slow to bloom but starting.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: My first season of Atemoya fruits

The phenotype if certain pollens can dictate the phenotype of the fruits especially if u are using a cocktail mixture.

Mikey is absolutely correct. It depends on the pollen you are using and also if you thin the fruits that will determine the size of the fruit.

Awesome list, thanks for making these available!

In 2018 you listed your top 3 atemoya:

Pink Mammoth
La Habra Sun

Any contenders? How does goliath rate? How is Hawaii PM different?

Hi Paul
Every year a new variety rise to the top. The flavors of the year for me were; PM, La Habra blanc and Birula. This season has been the worse as the early rains,  cold nights and Iíve been out of town most of the winter......Iíve loss 95% of my crop. Iíve had 2 or 3 Goliath as Iíve loss the rest due to weather. Hawaiian PM is probably a seedling of real PM overall itís an excellent fruit, I like it.

As a reminder, please send all PayPalís to friends&family only.
Thanks for yr support

Sir prize is an excellent avocado and has a long season.  I still have some 70 fruits on my trees and the longer they hang the better they taste. We are very fortunate to have these winter/spring avocados vs the mushy Chilean hass avocados sold at Costco or other markets.

Bacon is also very good if left to hang.  Had one today that was really nice.  A lot of avocados are being picked too early and then given bad reviews IMO.  A giant avo like daily probably needs close to 2 years on the tree in so cal to reach peak oil.  Just my guess.

Ive got a medium sized tree and just took some budwood from it and put onto a mature bacon tree to support the big fruit sooner.

Brad, bacon is mostly a winter fruit which I was never impress with .... yank my bacon long ago replaced it w Ismael . Daily11 itís pure show. Iíve had many from Rudy Haluza farm in Temecula. he had a huge tree, lots of better fruits during the time of year not worth considering.

Nice report Brad, sadly up here on Central coast (Arroyo Grande) Ca. two miles inland from coast Sharwil doesn't fruit at all I just stumped my 12yrs. old tree so that I can rework when sprout's appear. In all those year's I had 3- fruit but I sure love your report very nice looking fruit!! :( 8) I'm not saying to folk's don't grow this excellent variety just beware that it need's heat to set and ripen fruit ;)

Thatís too bad Scott sharwill is top 5 cado in my book but right now Pinkerton is king, not a better fruit out there.

This is a very mediocre tasting avocado just a novelty. May be worse than Bacon. Do a forum search and youíll find pix I posted years ago

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Cherimoya Season 2019 (So Cal)
« on: January 30, 2020, 06:37:04 PM »
Hi Brad
Iíve been jumping from YucatŠn to OC this winter and can only say last year I sold over 800lb of anonas to less than 100lb this season. Most of my anonas have either split or dropped due to the early rains and the low temps. My strategy for next season is prune early and hand pollinate by May.
