Here in Portugal figs are so common, that much people don't give a damn about them. I was surprised when I saw people from around the world crazy about figs!

Actually passiflora incarnata is a native of the US, very uncommon in cultivation in South America. It is in its best conditions in cold climates with temperatures down to -15ŗC. The plant usually loses the foliage in late Autumn and dies completely above ground, coming back in Spring.
