Wow, Joćo, that is a seriously impressive collection. Congratulations!
Do you grow all these plants outside, or do you keep them in a greenhouse? And do you irrigate much in summer?

Hi!

I keep many of them sheltered yes. In Summer I have to water them daily.

Hi!

Thank you! It is present in Aquitaine, but it is rare. I guess so, as it grows in dune systems and sandy pine forests.

85
Hi Luķs!

Do you know a good banana nursery that ships to Portugal? Thanks!

Joćo

Hello!

Here we can never find them! :-( I think I'll use some sand in the soil mix, what do you think?

Hi!

After so many years looking for this berry plants, I will finally get hold of some! It is a typical but day by day rarer berry found in Portugal, and also in some locations in Spain and France, that in the past was used to make jams but also eaten out of hand.

Hi!

Thank you for your answers! I will get some seeds soon, I hope they grow well here. Some people talk good of the fruit, others do not, it must be a question of taste.

Feijoas this size I had never seen! Cultivated here in Portugal, from a tree raised from seed.

Joćo Franco.

Hi all! Have fresh seeds from solanum quitoense and acca sellowiana to trade for other seeds of my interest.

The largest fruits of acca sellowiana I have ever seen! They should be well ripen before consumption.

Fruits of lulo/naranjilla (solanum quitoense), sour but tasty fruit from South America. The taste reminds me of lime and yellow passionfruit.

Hi!

The taste is good, but lots of time to eat a whole fruit.
