scions of scleroderma i have...(but not mature wood)

tried to plant Pentadiplandra brazzeana, but all seeds failed to germinate...this may be one of the most difficult species to obtain fresh seeds for.  I've never got seeds directly, but have heard how difficult it is to source from my friends.

Hi to all seeds addicts,

does anybody have for sale Annona Scleroderma and/or Pentadiplandra Brazzeana seeds for sale?

Does anybody tried Oublie fruit for sweetening something? Does it work better than Stevia (bad liquorice backtaste!) :o

thank you all in advance!

Giampaolo

Thank you Adam, but unfortunately is very difficult to import scions in Italy...

About Pentadiplandra Brazzeana, it worth to try again: it seems a great resource for alternative sugar, I'm very passionate about sweets and I know what it means having chance to taste more products at lower calories without jeopardizing the flavours.

I think it's time to ask help to all friends in Cameroon or in neighborhood.. ;)

Help!! ;D

cheers,

Giampaolo

Payment send today late, was at a funeral yesterday, thank for the fruit update, that Marolo.  I am going to kill all my Marolo seedlings and save me a Decade.  Your Marolo will give me at least seven years leapfrog.  Now I just need to Assemble my Italian shit Meatball to get them to germinate.  Can you tell me the general characteristics of this Marolo.  Like what soil where this tree come from, sandy or rocky.  Any chance you can take a foto at the base of the tree so I can see.  My whitman fiberless soursop now have four fruit on it the size of a small mandarins.  Years ago a friend send me a foto of a whitman fruit producing tree.  So I copy the ground were the tree grow, meaning tons of forest litters not muclch; as far as I know, for now--I am the only one with this variety fruiting consistently.  So I want to understand how this tree grow in its origin.  That way in it's aliens South Florida, perhaps I can get it to thrive knowing its preference in its homeland.  I just dont trust any common literature.  I have Kepel & Poshte annonas on it way to flowering here in Florida.  I ditch all the socall expert on this site & other places and use dosages of common senses to get a few plants out of hundreds to stick!  Any ideas on your local experiences.  Anyone can google shit on growing it.  But I have never see any expert with any real plant growing or fruiting in an outside environment in Florida.  Breedings & selection for them will be a long duration.  If you can provide local knowledge its than a goldmine of knowledge for me. Thank you as always for supplying me with the best breeding genetic you & Ricardo!  My mutation hibiscus sabdariffa collection should produce a few surprises reel soon.

Amazing story Coconut, I can't stop laughing like crazy... ;-)

Adam, Carlos said it could be a relative to Annona and not to Duguetia!?!
By the way, the guy sent me these photos is going to give me more info in the next days. I suspect this will be not a bad fruit to eat when ready for ripe..

In the meantime I'm going to get from him also some fresh seeds of Annona Crassiflora now and Annona Coriacea in July

Cheers,

Giampaolo

Post should be moved outside of buy/sell/trade forum. It would get more exposure under the correct board.

Thanks Dreamfrutas, unfortunately I don't have more photos and I'm thinking if it worth to get the seeds of this tree or not. The fact is that the owner of the land where this tree grows has never seen this kind of fruit and considering he is one of the representatives of farmers asociation in Minas Gerais is very strange that none of them have identified this plant yet...

Hi guys, I have a question for all Annonaceae experts: I received the following photos from Brasil regarding one specie not easy for me to identify. It is in a protected natural park in Minas Gerais and no idea of the specie it belongs nor the variety.. local people say it is not a biriba or atemoya. May it be a Duguetia relative? Any guess?
Thanks for your help,

Giampaolo

Nobody is expert enough? ;-)

More details: it's very coriaceous and when cut it becomes brown very fast, it follows another pic.
