Here is a picture of my 2 garcinia hombroniana grown from seed.


The one on the right took 7 month to grow those new leaves. The one on the left sprouted 1 month after the right one, so I'm expecting new growth on this one next month.
Man are they slow growers! At this rate it will take 3 or 4 years to see the first branch.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Pink guava in pot.

I have found some crafted pink guava in a nursery.
I live in Japan zone 9A 9B so I won't plant it directly in the ground.
Has anyone got it to fruit in pot? I would like to read your experience.
Strawberry guava is much easier, but the taste is somewhat more tart and sometime quite bad.
