My Angie tree is still small so I got the disease resistant info from Alex's description from Tropical Acres as well as searching this forum. Haven't heard of anybody having a horrible time with the tree in terms of diseases. Maybe you are thinking of another dwarf, ice cream, which is known to have issues with disease/fungus.

The pigs come through according to my neighbors, although I haven't seen any yet. I have heard that the rabbits and peacocks are the bigger issue though so I might focus on keeping those out of the garden for now

I am in the process of putting a garden on my property. I hastily purchased several sweet potato slips online but will not have the garden bed ready when they arrive, so I was going to put them straight into the ground. I live in Bokeelia, FL where there are wild pigs, rabbits, and peacocks that ravage through gardens. Do any of you have any suggestions for a cheap fence or net that I can use to keep the critters out? Once I have my first sweet potato harvest, I was planning on taking slips and putting them in the garden bed where I will have a better setup, but for now would prefer something on the cheaper side.

I was struggling with the same question about varieties. I don't have any guanabana trees yet because I was trying to find a superior variety and where I can get it but it is hard to find a lot of information about different varieties. I've read that there are sweet varieties and some that are not, so I wanted to make sure I got a sweet one. I think most nurseries just list them all as "guanabana"

I’ve read that some varieties are sweet and others are not, so I wanted to make sure that I get a variety that is sweet. I would really appreciate information on some varieties and where I can buy that variety of tree.
