Really don't know how hot is inside, look here the position of the plant, click to enlarge,is the biggest one:

I use manual pollination

Now i was planning to buy a psidium cattleianum sabine to try cross pollination, is the only one psidium cattleianum i found here with open flowers... Is it a good idea or a waste  of time?

@bsbullie: i bought it this winter and put it in there and now i need some1 can help me to move it out,for the same reason it is on the side :) ; unpollinated opened flower fall down.

@fliyngfoxfrutis: i give water when soil surface is dry..the water on leaves was rain

Tropical Fruit Discussion / yellowish falling leaves on my carambola
« on: April 23, 2015, 04:11:46 PM »
Hi guys,it's the very same carambola I talked about on here: http://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=15312.msg195626#msg195626

re-potted and still in the greenhouse, lower temperature is about 11° during night, but I really don't understand what is happening...some leaves turn into yellow and then fall down, upper leaves are perfect instead

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Carambola and guava in which pot?
« on: April 15, 2015, 02:35:42 PM »
The soil is mixed with natural pelleted manure :D

Monitor closely as it is not customarily recommended to use potting mixes with any type of incorporated fertilizer.   It can burn the roots.  Its always better to top dress with fertilizer or spply liquid via spray and/or drench.

I hope will be all ok, past year i used the same pellet for peppers in pot... No strange behavior happened :)

i'm back..i repotted them in 37cm diameter pot, there was not so much root density because the old pot was laying directly on the soil so root exit from the pot and grew outside...So ,I really hope to get some fruit this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D
